What if my mascot isn't there?! 😬 Sometimes mascots have slightly diff names (like "Lady Tigers" vs "Tigers"). Try just the main part ("Tigers"). Still no luck? We might not have it in our database... yet!

On a mascot's page, you'll see some charts. They show stuff like:

• State Popularity: Which states use the mascot the MOST?
• Per Capita Popularity: Which states *really* love the mascot based on their population size? (Sometimes small states are BIG fans!)
• School Level: Is it mostly a high school thing? Or maybe elementary schools use it?
• Colors: What school colors usually go with this mascot?
• Comparisons: How popular is it compared to similar mascots? (Like "Eagles" vs other birds 🐦).

Look at the titles and see what's highest on the list to get the main idea.

We try to sort mascots to help compare 'em. You might see tags like:

• Primary Type: The main category (Animal, Person, Object).
• Secondary Type: Like a sub-category (Bird, Reptile if it's an Animal).
• Attribute: A cool descriptor (Royal, Fighting, Golden ✨).
• Other tags: Like "Cute", "Mythological", "Has Weapon" ⚔️, etc.

That info box at the top of the mascot page? It's a quick summary!

It pulls together some of the interesting stats and details we have about the mascot based on all the data we've collected. Kinda like a mini-report card! 🤓
